Homebody is a painting about days of being wild and days spent spiraling into myself and disconnecting from anything that used to make me feel real.

Not anyone that lands on this page, but some people were imagining a grand social life of partying and staying out all night for me. I love the way that the shelf and even the corner of the room are thrown away from the figure like shadows. The animation of inanimate things is inspired by comics - this painting is a panel from my very slowly developing comic book The Night City, rendered full color in oil.
